1.  HERO1 WADE was born Bet. 1740 - 1762 in Pennsylvania, and died 1842 in Centre County Pennsylvania.  He married DAUPHINE.  She was born Abt. 1765 in Pennsylvania. 

Notes for DAUPHINE:  Dauphine was a enslaved by General James Potter. In his will he leaves this slave to his daughter Martha Gregg.

2.                i.       DINAH2 ADAMS, b. 1787, Pennsylvania; d. Aft. 1870, Hollidaysburg Blair County Pennsylvania. 

Generation No. 2 

2.  DINAH2 ADAMS (HERO1 WADE) was born 1787 in Pennsylvania, and died Aft. 1870 in Hollidaysburg Blair County Pennsylvania.  She married ELIAS ADAMS1,2.  He was born 1794 in Pennsylvania, and died Abt. 1865 in Hollidaysburg Blair County Pennsylvania. 

Notes for DINAH ADAMS:  In the 1820 census James Potter III has enumerated with his household blacks who would be the correct age of the children of Daphine the negro women left in his Grandfathers will to Martha Gregg. They become emancipated between 1822 and 1834.  

Notes for ELIAS ADAMS:  Elias Adam or Elias Adams is possibly the mulatto Adam named in the Will of General James Potter.

3.  GEORGE3 ADAM (DINAH2 ADAMS, HERO1 WADE)4 was born 1820 in Centre County Pennsylvania4, and died in Bellefonte Centre County Pennsylvania.  He married ELIZA ADAM4.  She was born 1828 in Pennsylvania4, and died in Bellefonte Centre County Pennsylvania. 

Notes for GEORGE ADAM:  It is unclear if George was born before or after his mother was emancipated. It is possible that he was born just before and that George remains enslaved to the Gregg's or Potter's until he is 28 about 1848.
