For the family of Dr. Thomas Wynne the best source for reference is Welsh Founders by Thomas Allen Glenn. A reprinted copy is available at http://www.genealogical.com/item_detail.asp?ID=2230&afid=1000.
In the publication we look at pedigree XVII from Ednowain Bendew. Our most direct connection to Owen Gwynedd is found with Ithel Vychan. Ithel Vychan of Holt and Denbigh and in right of his wife was from Bodfari and Yeceifog. We learn from Sir John Gwedir of Gwydir http://Gwydir-castle.co.uk/ 1533 and First Baronet of the name Wynne, that Ithel Vychan's wife was the daughter of Robin. Robin was the brother of Robert, and this Robert was alive in 1304 the time of Henry IV. Sir John Wynne wrote a history of the family it can be found at National Library of Wales .We learn from Harleian Society Shropshire Visitations 1623, Evans of Northup, Flintshire that Ithel Vychan wife's given name is Angarrett. The Visitation information was not printed by Glenn, it is additional information outside the Welsh Founders source. Copies on CD can be found at http://www.quintinpublications.com/england_harleian.html There are other copies on CD on line but this is the society responsible for the transcription.
